Royal Television Society Awards Nomination
Silva Screen Records has released the original soundtrack album of A Suitable Boy to coincide with the worldwide series release on Netflix. The score features a collaboration between Alex Heffes and world-renowned sitar player and composer Anoushka Shankar. Based on Vikram Seth’s epic 1300-page book it follows the fortunes of Lata Mehra and four large families at the time of Indian partition. The series is directed by Mira Nair (Monsoon Wedding) and marks Alex's second collaboration Mira following Disney's Queen Of Katwe. The score was recorded remotely during the pandemic and features some of India's top musical talent. The album, which also features original songs by renowned singer Kavita Seth is available digitally now and will be followed by a double CD and vinyl release in November.

The feature documentary RONNIES which follows the life and legendary club of Ronnie Scott opens this week in Everyman Cinemas UK. Directed by Oliver Murray, RONNIES is an affectionate and spellbinding tribute to the club and the man behind it. The film has a vast array of incredible (and some unseen) archive performances from Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and many more.
