11.22.63 now streaming on Hulu

The 8 pt event mini series from J.J. Abrams, best-selling author Stephen King, executive producer/writer Bridget Carpenter and Warner Bros. Television follows high school teacher Jake Epping (James Franco) on his mission of traveling back in time to prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Audiences and critics are loving the series! Collider says "11.22.63‘s aesthetics are tantalizing, the acting compelling, and the twists and supernatural elements are genuinely shocking" and The Daily beast says " [It ends with] possibly the most heartbreakingly bittersweet finale in the King oeuvre. In short: it’s Peak (King) TV of the highest order."

Sky Ladder Premieres at the opening day of Sundance

Sky Ladder: The Art Of Cai Guo-Qiang is the new feature documentary from Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland, Touching the Void). The film opens at the start of the 2016 Sundance Film festival. Featuring Alex's futuristic synth score the film charts the life and work of Cai who is one of the most successful living artists whose name is surprisingly still unknown to most Westerners. The film enters around his quest to achieve his magnum opus - the 1500 foot flaming ladder hanging in the sky that became an internet viral sensation in 2015.

Alex scoring 11.22.63 for Stephen King & J.J. Abrams

Alex is scoring the 8 part mini series 11.22.63 produced by Stephen King and J.J. Abrams. Based on King's best-selling novel 11.22.63 the series star James Franco as a high school teacher who travels back in time to try and stop the assassination of President John F Kennedy. The all star cast also includes Sarah Gadon (Map to the Stars), Josh Duhamel (Transformers), T.R. Knight (The Good Wife) and Chris Cooper (The Bourne Identity). The 9 hour Hulu original features live orchestra conducted by Alex on the scoring stages at Fox and Sony Studios in LA.
